\"\"James \u201cJim\u201d Dale Mull, 64, of Lawson, MO, passed away November 6, 2021, at Excelsior Springs Hospital. Jim was born in St. Louis, MO, to Dale and Rose Mull on April 18, 1957.\u00a0 Jim graduated from Platte County R-III High School and then went to work at KCI Airport fueling airplanes for Allied Aviation; he then worked for the NKC School District.\u00a0 Jim enjoyed traveling around looking for antiques, raising horses, and playing Santa Claus during the Christmas holidays.<\/p>\n

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Rose, in 1999.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his father, Dale (Zella); sons, Ethan Mull and Aaron (Christie) Mull; grandson, Henry Mull; sister, Jean (Refugio) Gasca; brothers, Steven Mull and Jeffrey (Marsha) Mull; and his partner, Claudine Penney, of the home.<\/p>\n

Jim was the type of person you do not find everyday — he had a huge heart, a caring spirit, and loved nature.\u00a0 He and Claudine were lucky enough to find their true soulmates in each other.\u00a0 They enjoyed spending time together back roading, collecting wild flowers, watching baseball and football, and taking trips together, especially to Hannibal. They also enjoyed working on their vintage home and running their antique store\/coffeehouse, Treasured Relics, in Lawson.\u00a0 Jim found joy in giving back to people — if there was someone in need, Jim and Claudine were there to help meet their needs. They loved Christmas time and opening their home to the children of Lawson where he and Claudine played Santa and Mrs. Claus. He enjoyed listening to their questions and lending them an ear, discussing what was on their minds and making them feel special.\u00a0 It wasn\u2019t anything for Jim to give a child a toy if they were being good.<\/p>\n

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2021, with service immediately following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO.<\/p>\n
