Shannon (Easler) Bosley, 51, of Holt, Mo., passed away peacefully in her home on October 2, 2021.<\/p>\nShannon (Easler) Bosley, 51, of Holt, Mo., passed away peacefully in her home on October 2, 2021.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Bosley was born September 16, 1970 in Augusta, Georgia. Shannon attended Lawson High School and worked for Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center for 27 years where she was awarded The Commitment to Caring Award, as well as Home Depot Garden Center. She loved gardening, cooking, fishing, Christmas, and spending time with her husband, kids, and grandchildren.<\/p>\n
She is preceded in death by her mother, LaJuana Smelcer of Lawson, Mo.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her husband, Michael Bosley of Holt, Mo.; children, Ashley McCubbin (Kyle) of Lawson, Mo., Dana Elam (Leandra) of Palacios, Texas, Julia Bosley (Dan) of Kansas City, Mo., and Jason Bosley (Alodie) of Fairburn, Ga.; parents, Butch and Paula Easler of North Augusta, S.C., and Terry Smelcer of Lawson, Mo.; siblings, Katie Easler of North Augusta, S.C., and Tim Smelcer (Meg) of Sandusky, Ohio; four grandchildren, Maverick McCubbin, Charley McCubbin, Emma McCubbin of Lawson, Mo., and Elijah Bosley of Fairburn, Ga.; two nieces and one nephew, Kyrsten, Kinsey, and Joel Smelcer.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held at Old Union Christian Union in Lawson, Mo., on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held at Holt City Park in Holt, Mo., on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
Memorial Contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.<\/p>\n

I am very saddened by the loss of this truly beautiful (inside and out) woman! She made a difference in this world, in so many ways! Not everyone can say that! I will miss you my friend. Love you!

Shannon was truly one of the most loving, caring people I have ever known. I worked with her for several years at the Convalescent Center-the resident\u2019s loved her as well as the staff. She always had a kind word and a beautiful smile. My thoughts and prayers continue for Mike & the family.
