Harris; four sisters, Rosie Gorbet, Ann Quarles Cannon, Wilma Killough, and Brenda Stevenson; as well as her real pride, 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Dorothy was born September 2, 1944. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and she loved her family. She was a cook at local restaurants until retirement and she loved giving all of the babies kisses.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, MO, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Dorothy will be buried at Providence Cemetery in Kansas City, MO, following the service.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>It&#8217;s never easy for those left behind when Heaven gains another angel, and this is one of the good ones. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy&#8217;s family, as well as friends who are saddened by this great loss.
