{"id":8626,"date":"2021-04-18T15:24:14","date_gmt":"2021-04-18T15:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=8626"},"modified":"2021-05-05T18:13:39","modified_gmt":"2021-05-05T18:13:39","slug":"mary-moore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/04\/18\/mary-moore\/","title":{"rendered":"Mary Moore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8628\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/mary_moore.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/mary_moore.jpg 280w, https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/mary_moore-201x300.jpg 201w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>Mary Prentice Moore was born to Clyde and Ellen Prentice on October 15, 1938 in Claycomo, Missouri.\u00a0 Mary passed away April 18, 2021 at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab in Gallatin, Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Mary grew up in Kearney, Missouri, and was a 1956 graduate of Kearney High School.\u00a0 Mary excelled in her studies and as an athlete.\u00a0 Mary was a member of the Varsity Girl\u2019s Basketball team.<\/p>\n<p>While married, she and her husband started many housing developments in Kearney.\u00a0 Mary loved gardening and raising roses.\u00a0 Later Mary worked for Maxon Electronics in Kansas City, Missouri and eventually she moved to Singapore to become the Managing Director of Maxon\u2019s Overseas Division for eight years, before returning to the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.\u00a0 She enjoyed attending and hosting family events.\u00a0 Mary loved playing cards and belonged to the local bridge Club in Kearney.<\/p>\n<p>Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ellen, and her sister, Evelyn Riley.<\/p>\n<p>Mary is survived by a brother, Charles (Darlene) Prentice; son, Ronald (Shannon) Moore; daughter, Carla (Tom) Erhartic; granddaughters, Jami Erhartic and Brianna Moore; and great-granddaughter, Sadie Thomas. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Muddy Fork Cemetery, Kearney, Mo. Casual attire\/ boots optional.\u00a0 The family suggest memorial contributions to Muddy Fork Cemetery or flowers may be sent to Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>So sorry to hear about Mary. We had such fun with her growing up, in basketball, cheerleading, and wading in the creek at her house.
