{"id":8465,"date":"2021-03-11T20:16:50","date_gmt":"2021-03-11T20:16:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=8465"},"modified":"2021-03-18T15:40:33","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T15:40:33","slug":"leroy-allen-rader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/03\/11\/leroy-allen-rader\/","title":{"rendered":"LeRoy Allen Rader"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8469\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/leroy-rader.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"280\" height=\"371\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/leroy-rader.jpg 280w, https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/leroy-rader-226x300.jpg 226w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/>LeRoy\u00a0Allen\u00a0Rader\u00a0of\u00a0Holt, Mo., passed peacefully\u00a0in his sleep\u00a0on\u00a0March 9,\u00a02021 at the age of 80.<\/p>\n<p>LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lucille Rader.<\/p>\n<p>LeRoy\u00a0is survived by his wife,\u00a0Louisa; and two children,\u00a0Clay Rader (Tonjna)\u00a0and\u00a0LeAnna Labrie;\u00a0brother, David Rader (Ann);\u00a0five\u00a0grandchildren,\u00a0Keri, John, Tyler, Tiara, and Amanda; and four great grandchildren, Elijah, Isaac, Madilynn, and Danielle.<\/p>\n<p>LeRoy\u00a0was born in\u00a0Smithville, Mo., on\u00a0July 3, 1940\u00a0and he graduated from Lathrop\u00a0High School in 1958.\u00a0After graduation he attended The Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy in Rolla, Mo., where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>LeRoy thoroughly enjoyed his career as a Civil Engineer specializing in hydraulics and water drainage.\u00a0 He designed projects in 37 states and 5 different countries.\u00a0 One of the more notable designs that he was part of was the parking lots of the Truman Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>LeRoy\u00a0married the love of his life,\u00a0Louisa\u00a0(Mills) on\u00a0June\u00a04, 1961.\u00a0He\u00a0was devoted to his family.\u00a0 He also loved fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, and watching the Chiefs and the Royals.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life gathering will be at\u00a0the City On A Hill Church in Holt, Mo., on March 15, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.\u00a0 Funeral services will start\u00a0at\u00a011:00 a.m.\u00a0Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home may be contacted for details.\u00a0Flowers and condolences may be sent to\u00a07795 SE Scott Road, Holt, MO 64048.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Roy Allen.
