Neva Janes, 93, of Kearney, Mo., passed away January 4, 2021 at 10:35 p.m. at Liberty Health and Wellness Nursing Home in Liberty, Mo.<\/p>\n
Neva was born August 23, 1927 in Livonia, Mo., to parents Carrie and Parker Ray. She loved Jesus, her late husband Delbert, her cats, chickens, and flowers.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nina Withrow and Nellie Fowler; two brothers, Vernon Ray and Elton Ray; as well as her husband, Delbert.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Schneikart; son, Dale Janes; grandchildren, Penny Stone, Robert Schneikart Jr., Dan Schneikart, and Jody Janes; as well as 11 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.<\/p>\n
Neva will be in state at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 with a graveside service\u00a0 to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Plattsburg, Mo., at 11:30 a.m.<\/p>\n
I am blessed that my path in life was fortunate to have met Delbert and Neva’s paths. They were such an inspiration to me. Neva always displayed a smile and uplifting spirit. Though life on Earth seems so brief, it it comforting to know we will meet again in glory. Now Neva can walk the streets of gold with Delbert again as I look forward to walking with Donna again.

So sorry we were not able to come to the visitation for Neva, but we are quarantined with the Covid.\u00a0 Neva was a blessing to all who knew her.\u00a0 She always had a smile and was such a kind person.\u00a0 We always enjoyed the story of how she and Delbert met.\u00a0 Our sympathy and prayers.

I am so blessed I got the opportunity to get to know when she moved into Ashton Court, she was truly a very sweet lady, and alot of us hated to see her move. She will truly be missed.
