She also enjoyed gardening and quilting.<\/p>\n<p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Hattie Whitfield; son-in-law, Tim Gant; grandson, Brad Abeln; sisters, Oneida Stevens, Betty Scott, Patsy Reeves, Bobbie Sanders, and Joyce Carolyn; brothers, and Roe and Jack Whitfield.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband, Dennis Speak; daughter, Lenora Gant; granddaughters, Melinda Vroom, Amelia Gant, and Lindsey Hicks; grandson, Brandon Abeln; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Dean and Levi Whitfield; and sisters, Wilma Huff and Helen Hathaway.<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services were held Saturday, November 27, 2020 at New Hope Cemetery, Liberty, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Norma Speak of New Cambria, Mo., passed away November 24, 2020 in Lawson, Mo., from kidney cancer.
