On Wednesday, November 4, 2020, Delores Ann (Brown) Blake, passed away at age 79.<\/p>\n
Delores was born on July 10, 1941 in Jefferson City, Mo., to Elihu and JoAnn Brown. She grew up in Sedalia and was a proud graduate of the class of 1959 at Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia, Mo.<\/p>\n
She is survived by her only child with Jim Blake, Angie (Jeff) Perry of Kearney and her two beloved grandsons, Alex and JT.<\/p>\n
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Elihu and JoAnn, and her brother, Ross.<\/p>\n
Delores went to work for McDaniel Title Company in 1974. She joined Stuart Title later in her career and was a Vice President in the company when she retired. Delores had a passion for travel, animals, dancing and listening to live music. She was a very compassionate woman and cared deeply for her family and her friends.<\/p>\n
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the First Christian Church of Kearney at 1 o\u2019clock p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Humane Society would be appreciated.<\/p>\n
