He enjoyed his trucks and dogs.\u00a0 He relished spending time with his family in his later years.\u00a0 He was a wonderful grandpa and could be seen rolling on the floor with his grandkids and great grandkids.<\/p>\n<p>James was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Gertrude Talley; sisters, Daisy McCubbin and Francis Dorman; brothers, Junior Talley and Richard Talley; and son, Jake Talley.<\/p>\n<p>His survivors include spouse, Wyanda Talley; brother, Phillip and his wife, Dottie; brother-in-law, Marvin Dorman; sons, Jim Talley, John Talley, Jack Talley and Mark Whitmire;\u00a0daughters, Debbie Duncan and Jeannie Reuscher.\u00a0He also leaves behind a large and loving family of 15 grandkids and 13 great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>James will be in-state for viewing from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2020 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday at New Garden North Cemetery.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Woodland Baptist Church, 11023 Hwy H, Liberty, MO 64068.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather and great grandfather.
