He was a graduate of the class of \u201961 from North Kansas City High School. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Local #2 and worked in sheet metal for forty years.<\/p>\n<p>Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Grant.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Kelly, Sherry, Cindy, and their spouses; son, Troy and stepson, Patrick; seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by four sisters, two brothers, and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>A visitation will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo., with a memorial service to follow directly after at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>To the family of Jerry Norton each one.<br \/>\nKen and I both went to High School with Jerry and know he will be missed.<br \/>\nMay the Lord care for each of you as you grieve and begin the healing process one day at a time.
