{"id":6497,"date":"2020-06-10T15:04:52","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T15:04:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=6497"},"modified":"2020-06-10T15:07:30","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T15:07:30","slug":"stephen-richard-elliott","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2020\/06\/10\/stephen-richard-elliott\/","title":{"rendered":"Stephen Richard Elliott"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6499 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/stephen_elliott.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"242\" \/>Stephen Richard Elliott,\u00a0was born to John and Doris Elliott on November 17, 1948 and passed away peacefully at his home on May 31, 2020 in Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his parents.<\/p>\n<p>Stephen is survived by an older brother, John Douglas of Ames, Iowa, and younger brothers, David (presence unknown), Denton (Paula) of rural Boone County, Iowa, James (Stefni) of Ames, Iowa, and Richard (Kim) of McKinney, Texas; along with several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>He graduated from Ames High school in 1967 and enlisted in\u00a0the United States Navy,\u00a0serving in the United States Navy and then the\u00a0reserves in San Diego area for 4 years.<\/p>\n<p>Later in life, Steve settled into Excelsior Springs, Mo., calling this area home for the last several years. He had a penchant of making friends and had a heart of gold. He was a hard worker and was always willing to pitch in.
