{"id":558,"date":"2017-06-29T03:13:52","date_gmt":"2017-06-29T03:13:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=558"},"modified":"2018-10-13T00:33:27","modified_gmt":"2018-10-13T00:33:27","slug":"danny-scott-easterling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2017\/06\/29\/danny-scott-easterling\/","title":{"rendered":"Danny Scott Easterling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-560 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/d_easterling.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"294\" \/>Danny Scott Easterling was born August 7, 1958, to parents Bob and Janie Davis Easterling in Hattiesburg, Miss.\u00a0 Danny grew up in Poplarville, Miss.\u00a0 He passed away June 29, 2017 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Mo., due to kidney and heart failure.\u00a0 His failing health was due to complications from cancer treatment at age 33.\u00a0 He battled several health issues bravely for many years.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his loving sister, Doris Easterling Hawthorne, Kearney, Mo.; Doris\u2019 son, Kevin Hawthorne (Katie) and their daughters, Molly and Candice (Kyle) and their son, Jasper; Doris\u2019 daughter, Lori Hawthorne Miller (Keith), and their children Ryan and Alyssa.<\/p>\n<p>When he had cancer at age 33, Danny\u2019s doctor told him to enjoy the next 20 to 25 years because his doctor predicted Danny\u2019s health future.\u00a0 Danny did just that.\u00a0 Danny loved learning and returned to college, where he earned a bachelor\u2019s degree and a master\u2019s degree in Criminal Justice from University of Southern Mississippi and a master\u2019s degree in Economics from University of Texas, Dallas.\u00a0 He was able to teach for several years, imparting his love of knowledge to others.\u00a0 His education studies took him to Mexico and The United Kingdom with a side trip to Ireland.\u00a0 As a huge sci-fi fan, the highlight of his trip to Ireland vas visiting Loch Ness, hoping to see \u201cNessie\u201d, the Loch Ness Monster.\u00a0 Danny had a heart for rescue dogs, especially pit bulls and helped as many as he could.
