Raymond Wallace Brower, 61, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on October 5, 2019 at his home, with his wife by his side.<\/p>\nRaymond Wallace Brower, 61, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest on October 5, 2019 at his home, with his wife by his side.<\/p>\n
Mr. Brower was born on May 30, 1958 in Kansas City, Mo. Raymond enlisted into the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. After discharge, he met and married his second wife, Barbara in 1983. Together, they started a successful home-based business as an automotive diesel mechanic. Raymond\u2019s love for working on cars started at a very young age and his services were highly sought after as a master mechanic of anything with wheels. Raymond always brought the life of the party anywhere he went and never met a stranger. There was nothing more important to him than his family.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Reffitt, and father, James Brower.<\/p>\n
Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Barbara, aka My Boo, whom he absolutely adored and doted on. He will be sadly and forever missed by his five siblings and children, Wesley, Jason, Andrea, Michael Brower and Sara (Bladen) McAdams; and 10 grandchildren, Decon, Gabe, Dylan, Nicole, Gage, Domenick, Lilly, Jacob, Kellan and Audrey Jo.<\/p>\n
If there was one word to describe Raymond it would be UNFORGETTABLE!<\/em><\/p>\n Memorial services will be held on October 9, 2019 with visitation to begin at 2 p.m. and funeral service to follow, all held at Old New Garden Church off Route O in Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n Flowers and memorial contributions are suggested to be sent to Bross and Spidle Funeral Home and please make addressed to Barbara Brower.<\/p>\n Barbara and Mike, we are so sorry for your loss. May God surround you and the family during this difficult time. To your family I pray for you guys during this hard and most difficult time. Raymond was a good man and will always be remembered. Barb to you please keep your head up. Such a great loss we have suffered . I am so saddened 4 the loss of such a great man . My prayers 4 his Family and many Friends that adored him . Rest easy now Raymond. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss! We knew him as ” Crazy Ray” I will sure miss seeing him at Opportunity Cafe. Given us all a hard time of course! He was always so fun! Always coming in to pick up food and coffee for his daughter and grandkids. We all thought that was so sweet! I know there will be such a void in so many lives.
