{"id":464,"date":"2017-04-24T06:45:33","date_gmt":"2017-04-24T06:45:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=464"},"modified":"2018-10-12T22:15:52","modified_gmt":"2018-10-12T22:15:52","slug":"glen-michael-mike-amos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2017\/04\/24\/glen-michael-mike-amos\/","title":{"rendered":"Glen Michael &#8220;Mike&#8221; Amos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-466 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/g_amos.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"303\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/g_amos.jpg 220w, https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/g_amos-218x300.jpg 218w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 220px) 100vw, 220px\" \/>Glen Michael &#8220;Mike&#8221; Amos, 58, formerly of Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Monday April 24, 2017\u00a0at his home in\u00a0Wheatland, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>Mike\u00a0was a past Exalted Ruler of the Excelsior Springs Elks Lodge #1001\u00a0and member of the Beehive Masonic Lodge in Lawson.\u00a0 He loved to fish, hunt, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with family and friends.\u00a0 He enjoyed\u00a0pulling pranks and loved to tell jokes.<\/p>\n<p>Mike is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rhonda (Elam) Amos;\u00a0daughters, Kelly (Tim) Denney, Tracy (Gary) Grass, and Andrea Collins; grandchildren, Quinten, Trevor, Damon, Maggie, Charles and Gabby; as well as his mother-in-law, Shirley Elam; brothers-in-law, Randy Elam and Mark (Deanna) Elam; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Barbara (Whelan) Amos, and sister, Diane Beazley.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>In lieu\u00a0of flowers the family requests contributions to the City Union Mission or CancerKickers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Glen Michael &#8220;Mike&#8221; Amos, 58, formerly of Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Monday April 24, 2017\u00a0at his home in\u00a0Wheatland, Mo.
