Boone<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Viola Mae (Anderson) Boone passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Convalescent Center in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She has been an area resident for 60+ years. Viola was born on July 18, 1928 in Horton, Kans., to Arthur and Gula (McMaster) Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>On January 19, 1947 she was united in marriage to Carl Boone.\u00a0 They lived their early married life in Independence, Mo., before moving to a farm near Rayville, Mo., in 1957.\u00a0 In 1947, she and Carl attended a revival in Independence, Mo., where both made decisions to live for Christ.\u00a0 For over 50 years, she was a member of Rayville Christian Union Church, Rayville, Mo. In 1966, Viola began working as a nurse\u2019s aide at the Excelsior Springs Hospital, where she worked for 19 years.<\/p>\n<p>She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.\u00a0 Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Boone; her parents, Arthur and Gula (McMaster) Anderson; and her siblings, Maxine (Anderson) Fowler, Erma Anderson and Dale Anderson.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her children, Linda Shepard and her husband, Michael, Ronald Boone and his wife, Joyce, David Boone and his wife, Sue, Bruce Boone and his wife, Amy, Mark Boone and wife, Kim, Shirley Perrault and husband, Tom; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2019 at Rayville Christian Union Church, 14459 Hwy C, Rayville, Mo., with service following.\u00a0 Burial at Crowley Cemetery, Rayville, Mo.\u00a0 Memorials can be made to the Church Missions Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements in care of Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Mark and Kim, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family and friends.
