Lanie Grace Steingrubey passed away April 6, 2019 at Children\u2019s Mercy Hospital in the arms of her parents. Lanie was born September 7, 2014 with a rare heart defect and the odds stacked against her. She had a series of three open heart surgeries throughout her life to help her live with her heart difference. Lanie beat all odds and never let her heart difference stop her from anything. She was a fighter and lived life to the fullest. She was the happiest when she was at home surrounded by her favorite people.<\/p>\n
