{"id":283,"date":"2017-03-10T03:32:37","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T03:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=283"},"modified":"2018-10-12T22:07:56","modified_gmt":"2018-10-12T22:07:56","slug":"brad-roach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2017\/03\/10\/brad-roach\/","title":{"rendered":"Brad Roach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-285 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/b_roach.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"255\" \/>Brad Roach, Kearney, passed away at the age of 29 on March 10, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident near Richmond, Mo.<\/p>\n<p>Brad is survived by his parents, Lana Roach and Corey Jenkins; his grandparents, Kirby and Virginia Roach; his siblings, Kenan, Niki, Marcus, and Kari and stepsister, Quisha; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.<\/p>\n<p>Brad was born in Kansas City on September 1, 1987. He graduated from Kearney High School in 2006. Brad loved being a big brother. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, listening to music, cooking, and writing. His biggest passion in life was soccer. He played as a young boy and all throughout school and continued to play in recreational leagues all throughout the years. He ultimately wanted to become a soccer coach.<\/p>\n<p>Brad was very fortunate to have a big loving family whom he enjoyed spending time with, especially his grandparents who were such a huge part of his life. He truly will be missed by all, but knowing that is no longer suffering brings comfort. In keeping in Brad&#8217;s generous and living spirit, it was his decision to donate life so that others might live.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation services will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017, at First Christian Church, Kearney, Mo., with a funeral following immediately after with Pastor Doug Gilpin as the officiate. In Brad&#8217;s memory, please consider registering to be an organ donor. He was always a playful, respectful young man with me, and often played soccer with our church club. He was brilliantly talented and it is tragic to see such a promising young life end.
