JBird had a love for music and enjoyed playing guitar.\u00a0 He spent time working with his hands enjoying gardening, woodworking, and re-finishing furniture.\u00a0 He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.\u00a0 John most of all loved spending time with his family.<\/p>\n<p>John was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Marvin Huxtable; daughter, Tarena Huxtable; two sisters, Bessie Huxtable and Anna Wade; and three brothers, Billy Rex, Gene, and Buzz Huxtable.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Wayman) Huxtable; children, Shannon and wife, Kelly Huxtable, Johnny and wife, Tanya Huxtable, Joey Huxtable, Tara Huxtable and husband, James Tolar (JT); grandchildren, Kyle, Janel, Katie, Sammi Jo, Presley, Josie Huxtable, Dakota Wilson, Tarena, Megan, Miranda Tolar, Maddi, Tanner Baldwin; eight great grandchildren; sister, Mildred George; sister, Sandy Gage; and close friend, Dee Dykes.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018, with service following at Fry- Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Holt, Mo.\u00a0\u00a0 A reception following the burial will be held at his son Johnny\u2019s home, 6761 SE Horseshoe Drive, Holt, MO 64048.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>God bless you all.
