On the morning of January 29, 2024, Carol departed this life at her home in Lawson, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.<\/p>\n
Carol Sue Novak was born September 26, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Delbert \u201cDub\u201d and Winnefred \u201cPauline\u201d McGuire. Carol grew up and raised her family in Rayville, Missouri. She touched so many lives throughout her lifetime but took the most pride in her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. Carol loved spending time with her grandchildren and
\nwatching them play sports. She was someone who easily took anyone in with no judgement, a quality of hers which many adored.<\/p>\n
She will be profoundly missed and deeply remembered by all those who knew and loved her. The memories she created with all will be held dear to our hearts.<\/p>\n
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert \u201cDub\u201d and Winnefred \u201cPauline\u201d McGuire; sisters, Shirley Ann McGuire and Mary Elizabeth McGuire; son, Jeremy Dean Novak; and great granddaughter, Westlynn Paige Shearer.<\/p>\n
Carol is survived by her two children, daughter, Angela (John) Beasley and son, Delbert (Brandy) Stevinson; brother, Chester McGuire; sisters, Linda (Bill) Richardson and Donna (Jim) Stafford; seven grandchildren, Brooke and Brittany Beasley, Caitlin, Madilyn, and Zander Stevinson, and Aspin and Garrett Novak; five great grandchildren, Raelynn, Gannon, Lucas, Elana, and August; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.<\/p>\n
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lawson Assembly of God Church.<\/p>\n

Carol and I worked together at the Good Samaritan Center. We became good friends and had lots of fun together.
