He peacefully left us to truly be a free bird on July 23, 2023, in the early morning hours.<\/p>\n<p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Anne and Chet; two sisters, Moya King and Nancy McEntire; and two brothers, Danny Lockwood and Eddie Lockamy.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his brother, George (Brenda) Lockwood; nephews, Jason (Kerri) Wetzel and Richard (Peggy) Baker; nieces, Shelly Bauer, Christy (Rusty) Smith, and Rachel (Mack) Hughes; sister-in-law, June (Eddie) Lockamy; as well as many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>The only way to truly describe Anthony is by saying he was truly one of a kind. He was a lover. He would rather go without things himself, than see someone he loved need something &#8211; even if it were to put him in a situation. Anthony definitely knew how to have fun and light up a gloomy room. The hole he leaves in our hearts will never be filled. Knowing that he is fulfilled, whole, and with our maker makes the loss a little bit easier.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14143 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/chet-lockamy-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"674\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/chet-lockamy-2.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/chet-lockamy-2-134x300.jpg 134w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u201cIf I leave here tomorrow.<br \/>\nWould you still remember me?<br \/>\nFor I must be traveling on now<br \/>\nCause there&#8217;s too many places I&#8217;ve got to see.\u201d &#8211; Lynyrd Skynyrd<\/p>\n<p>Anthony will be remembered for many years to come for the great laughs and enormous amount of love<br \/>\nhe gave throughout his lifetime and I am excited to hear the stories of all the sights he has seen once we get to heaven and meet again.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>He was a truly great man and he will be missed.<br \/>\nKaren McFee<\/p>\n<p>Anthony was a nice guy.
