Andrea Leigh Akers, 58, of Richmond, MO, passed away July 14, 2023 at home.<\/p>\n
Andrea most recently worked on the railroad, she spent many years as a PCT for Dialysis.<\/p>\n
Andrea was a graduate of Blue Springs High School and lived in Sweet Springs, MO, most of her life.<\/p>\n
Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Larry Payne, and an aunt, Arlene Ramirez.<\/p>\n
Survivors include her mom, Glenda Wade; two sisters, Alisa Vincent and Aniesje Duncan; three sons, Alex Schroeder (wife Rachel), Andrew Schroeder (wife Danielle), and Aaron Schroeder (wife Hayley); 10 grandchildren, Braden Butts, Baylee Butts, Bryce Butts, Samantha Butts, Makenzie Schroeder, Riley Schroeder, Archer Schroeder, Bentley Schroeder, Heidi Schroeder, and Addison Schroeder.<\/p>\n
Andrea loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren, she was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend.<\/p>\n
Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. July 22, 2023 at Stella\u2019s Richmond, MO.<\/p>\n
Andrea was born November 27, 1964 in Okinawa, Japan.<\/p>\n
Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.<\/p>\n
