John was born June 17, 1959 in Council Bluff, Iowa, to parents Cecil John Blevins and Ellen Laurine Whittington.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his siblings, Micheal Allan Blevins, Laurie Ann Werner, Patricia Lynn Reppy; and a daughter, Wahkunanauve (Nina) Blevins.<\/p>\n<p>Ben moved from Council Bluffs , Iowa, and lived in Topeka, Kansas, where he graduated from Topeka High School in 1977 and had a Degree in <span id=\"m_7696527009197219502gmail-docs-internal-guid-ea899128-7fff-190b-b07c-b648a8590d09\">Archertech<\/span>. He worked at Topeka High as an art teacher until he retired and moved to Excelsior Springs, MO. He loved family, friends, bowling, drawing, fishing, and golf.<\/p>\n<p>Services will be held at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints, 1130 N.
