He was a graduate of Liberty High School.\u00a0 Larry worked construction and was member of the Carpenters Union.<\/p>\n<p>Larry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and being in his workshop.<\/p>\n<p>He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, John Pendergrast.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by two sons, Thomas and wife, Stacey Pendergrast, and Scot Pendergrast; seven grandchildren, Nikki, Teela, Chris, Kylie, Alexis, Kayla, and Marisa Pendergrast; three great-grandchildren, Chase Maudlin, Bryce Maudlin, and Gavin Bauer; siblings, Tommy (Darlene Johnston) Pendergrast, Kay Looney, and Wanda and Tom Holloway.<\/p>\n<p>A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Fry-Bross &amp; Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, MO.\u00a0 Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>I am so sorry for your loss. Please find pride and peace as your father was an amazingly sweet, kind, and thoughtful man! Back then we did sooo much parties,games ohh and the driving down a one way hey.!! The food you could cook. When you see Johnny,Ronny,daddy you all will have fun! Party on!<br \/>\nVicky Meyer<\/p>\n<p>Larry would mow his yard at a turtle speed (perfection). The mower was so loud that I wondered if he kept it that way so he could hear it. Larry was a wonderful neighbor. I usually called him before I went over because he was so hard of hearing. We would meet in the middle of the street.
