\"\"Beverly Fitzhugh, 75, of Excelsior Springs, MO, died and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on April 13, 2022. She died at home after a relatively short battle with lung cancer.<\/p>\n

Bev was born October 19, 1946 in Norton, KS, to Jim and Doris Jean Fitzhugh.<\/p>\n

She is survived by three brothers, David Fitzhugh, Rodney Fitzhugh, and Mike Fitzhugh, and one sister, Peggy Vertiz; two children, Robert (Bob) Fitzpatrick and Deena Province; eight grandchildren, Lewie, Shay, Sadie, Sarah, Eli, Emerson, Alexis (deceased), Amanda; and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Bev was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Excelsior Springs Church until the day of her death. She ran a photography business from 1968 until 2010 when she had to quit for health reasons.\u00a0 For a hobby, she enjoyed doing needle work including cross-stitch and crocheting.<\/p>\n

She will be sorely missed by her family, church, friends, and fellow residents at The Oaks.<\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2022 at the Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, MO. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
