{"id":10266,"date":"2021-12-30T02:06:24","date_gmt":"2021-12-30T02:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/?p=10266"},"modified":"2022-03-01T01:56:55","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T01:56:55","slug":"terry-kuhns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/index.php\/2021\/12\/30\/terry-kuhns\/","title":{"rendered":"Terry Kuhns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10268 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/terry-kuhns.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"678\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/terry-kuhns.jpg 580w, https:\/\/staging.brossspidlemonuments.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/terry-kuhns-257x300.jpg 257w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/>Terry Kuhns, a resident of Wood Heights, entered into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the age of 75.<\/p>\n<p>Terry is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Terry (Julie) Kuhns and Tiffany (Ronald) Guthrie; his grandchildren, Jennie (Blaine) Watkins, Ian (Justine) Guthrie, Megan (Jacob) Bumps, Aimee Guthrie, Kaleigh Kuhns, Magdalene Kuhns, Abigail Kuhns, and Benjamin Kuhns; his great grandchildren, Conor Watkins, Ksenia Bumps, John Bumps, and Astrid Guthrie; his sisters, Eileen Pugh and Gail Ramseyer; and his brother, Dan Kuhns.<\/p>\n<p>Terry was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on August 4, 1946 to John and Shirley Kuhns.\u00a0 He graduated from Exeter High School and then from Penn State University.\u00a0 On September 9, 1967, he married Judy Eidam, from Reading, Pennsylvania.\u00a0 He worked as a life insurance underwriter for companies in Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan and Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Terry loved taking trips with Judy and their dogs in their motor home.\u00a0 He also enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, ham radio, guitars, and singing loud. \u00a0When he retired, he built an old Ford pickup truck part by part. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2021 at Pisgah Baptist Church in Excelsior Springs.\u00a0 Pastor Doug Richey will officiate.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #efdbd9; padding: 1em;\">\n<h5>Our Sincere Condolences<\/h5>\n<p>Judy and family:<br \/>\nI\u2019m so sorry about your loss.<br \/>\nAs believers the home going isn\u2019t the end and we KNOW we will see him again!!<br \/>\nI experienced this\u00a0 7 mos ago when Jim went Home too.\u00a0 It\u2019s a miss\u00a0 but a Grand Reunion is coming!<br \/>\nLove and prayers,<br \/>\nJan Lakin<\/p>\n<p>To Judy and Family<br \/>\nWe remember the fun times at family camp, playing Judy\u2019s games, and exciting camp fires in the evenings. He was such a good man. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren and was as an example to all who knew him. I always enjoyed being around Terri. He and Judy we\u2019re so helpful, kind and good to me and my children when we lived in the same town. Such a caring man. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.<br \/>\nKonnie Barbieri<\/p>\n<p>I was so sorry to hear of Terry\u2019s passing. I worked with him in New Business. I retired in 2008. I used to have so much fun joking with Terry. He had a funny and weird since of humor and In enjoyed it so much. We would take turns seeing who could out joke the other. I think I won<br \/>\nmost times, but Terry had a good comeback for me every time!<br \/>\nI am so happy to know he was saved, and all that are saved will see him again some day.
